The Goizueta Business School of Emory University is looking to hire an entry-level assistant professor position (tenure-track). The ideal candidate would have future promise as well as evidence of productivity. We will be interviewing at the upcoming AMA Conference in Chicago this August. Candidates should be capable of balancing managerial relevance with methodological rigor, and also excel in the classroom. They should be sufficiently advanced so as to be able to complete all requirements for their doctoral degree by August 2010.
Our state-of-the-art building provides an environment highly conducive to innovative research and teaching. The recently opened Goizueta Foundation Center for Research and Doctoral Education has expanded the available space by over fifty percent. In recent years, we have hosted the Marketing Science Conference and the AMA-Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium. We offer generous research support and three-course teaching loads.
The Goizueta Business School at Emory University continues to grow in size and reputation. The most recent additions to the marketing faculty are Ryan Hamilton and Manish Tripathi from Northwestern University who joined in fall 2008. We have a small doctoral program with 8-10 students in residence at any time.
