Hawai`i Pacific University (HPU) is an independent comprehensive university with campuses in Honolulu and Windward Oahu and is the largest private institution of higher learning in Hawaii. The College of Business Administration, located downtown Honolulu, has 42 full-time faculty. HPU has the largest MBA program in the state of Hawai`i. HPU is consistently ranked as one of the top schools in the west for having one of the most diverse student populations by Princeton Review.
The College of Business Administration at Hawai`i Pacific University seeks applications from qualified candidates for a full-time position in Marketing starting Spring 2010. Applicants at the assistant, associate, or full professor levels will be considered. Successful candidates will preferably hold a doctoral degree from an AACSB accredited university. If ABD, doctorate must be completed before January 2010. The college seeks candidates who can demonstrate or show potential for outstanding scholarship as well as excellence in teaching undergraduate, MBA and executive MBA students. The ideal candidate will have a very broad teaching base and experience in Marketing. The candidate must also have experience and a desire in developing and delivering courses via web-based distance learning technology. Hawai`i Pacific University faculty are expected to be excellent teachers, intellectually engaged in their discipline, and participating members of the university, professional and local communities.
